Rechat, an AI-powered platform positioning itself as an operating system for real estate brokerages, has been nominated for a 30th Annual Webby Award, the company announced Tuesday.
The Austin-based firm is competing in the Apps, Software & Immersive category for Marketing, Analytics, and Campaign Management, placing it alongside major digital platforms including Pinterest, LTK and Framer.
The Webby Awards are widely considered one of the internet’s top honors for digital products. Rechat said its nomination puts it among the top 11 percent of more than 13,000 entries submitted this year.
A push to redefine the proptech stack
Rechat’s pitch is straightforward but ambitious: Replace the patchwork of disconnected tools that agents and brokerages rely on with a single, unified platform.
“Ten years ago, we set out to solve a real problem: Real estate brokerages were paying for 10 to 20 tools that barely talked to each other,” said Shayan Hamidi, founder and CEO of Rechat. “We didn’t build another point solution or all-in-one. We built an operating system
The platform combines marketing design tools, campaign management, analytics, transaction workflows and an AI assistant — dubbed Lucy — into one system. The goal, according to the company, is to give agents access to the same level of marketing and data capabilities typically associated with large consumer brands.
That “all-in-one” approach reflects a broader trend in proptech, where vendors are increasingly consolidating workflows into unified ecosystems rather than standalone tools.
From CRM to ‘super app’
Rechat leans into the idea of being a “super app” for agents — a concept more commonly associated with consumer platforms — by bundling lead management, communications and deal tracking into a single interface.
The company recently expanded its feature set with a new “Flipbook View,” designed to turn listing presentations, CMAs and buyer tours into more immersive, visually driven experiences.
Audie Chamberlain, the company’s vice president of strategic growth and communications, framed the nomination as validation that real estate software can compete beyond its niche.
“Real estate technology deserves to be held to the same standard as the best consumer software in the world,” Chamberlain said. “This nomination is proof that the category exists.”
Proptech platforms compete to own the agent workflow
The recognition comes at a time when AI-driven tools are rapidly reshaping how agents manage leads, marketing and transactions. Platforms across the industry are racing to integrate automation, predictive analytics and conversational interfaces into daily workflows.
Rechat’s positioning — particularly its focus on surfacing “next best actions” rather than just reporting past performance — aligns with a growing emphasis on proactive, AI-guided decision-making in brokerage tech.
Public voting for the Webby People’s Voice Award is open now through April 16, with winners set to be announced April 21. The awards ceremony will take place on May 11 in New York City.
Whether it takes home a trophy or not, Rechat’s nomination signals something bigger: Proptech companies are increasingly aiming to compete not just within real estate but also alongside the broader software ecosystem that shapes how businesses operate.
