Every day, Inman gets a slew of announcements about big teams and industry leaders making moves from one company to another. It’s more than we can cover!
So, here are some of the biggest announcements from recent days:
Century 21
Century 21 Americana has added Century 21 Hometown Brokers to its network, extending its footprint from Nevada and Arizona into Montana. C21 Hometown Brokers has served the Greater Billings area since 2001, with broker-owner Mark Dawson at the helm.
“This transition allows us to bring the strength, technology and scale of Century 21 Americana to Montana while maintaining the local relationships and leadership that built our success,” Dawson said in an emailed statement. “We are proud to remain rooted in Billings while positioning ourselves for the next chapter of growth. We have so many great people working here, and we’re excited for the next 25 years.”
ERA Real Estate
ERA has a new affiliate in Chicagoland, with broker-owner Frank Scibior‘s Illinois Real Estate Partners. The 19-year-old firm, which has rebranded to ERA Partners, has more than 140 agents across several offices.
“Joining ERA Real Estate allows us to deliver an elevated real estate experience, which is ultimately what our business is all about. Almost 20 years ago, we noticed the need for a company that could do more than just help someone complete a transaction,” Scibior said. “We wanted to be an all-in-one resource, driven by respect, industry knowledge and a willingness to accommodate the client, instead of the other way around.”
Howard Hanna
Howard Hanna is strengthening its presence in eastern Ohio with Team Marzo, a five-member team serving the Poland area. Since launching in 2021, the team has completed more than 623 transactions worth more than $108 million — earning them a spot as one of the top 300 real estate teams in the nation, per RealTrends.
“Joining Howard Hanna was the right move for both myself and the team,” founder James Marzo said. “The support, technology and resources behind the company give us the ability to continue growing while serving our clients at a high level. Combined with our team’s local knowledge and relationships, it created a strong fit for where we want to go next.”
Michael Saunders & Company
Paul Rosile is the new chief information officer for Michael Saunders & Company, a Florida indie brokerage based in Sarasota. Rosile will handle the firm’s design and lead infrastructure, application, and enterprise solutions, according to the announcement.
“We are thrilled to welcome Paul to Michael Saunders & Company,” firm president Drayton Saunders said. “As he leads the technology team, he’ll be adding his years of experience in the field to our skill set — particularly his comfort level with applying AI to real-world problems — as we look to evolve how we support the day-to-day needs of our agents and staff.”
simpliHŌM
The Bringas Home Team has joined simpliHŌM after four years with LPT Realty. The team has closed more than $61 million in year-to-date sales volume with founder Justin Bringas at the helm. Bringas has been in the industry for nearly 20 years, with a resume that includes Keller Williams and Coldwell Banker.
“We are incredibly excited to partner with a top-producing team that has a massive vision for continued growth,” said Sean Miku, founder and CEO of simpliHŌM, in an announcement. “Justin Bringas is exactly the kind of leader we built simpliHŌM for. We created this company so that people like him can realize that whatever they dream, they can achieve it — and we’ll be right by their side.”
The Agency
The Agency is now in Italy, with the June 2 opening of The Agency Sardinia. The California-based luxury firm now has more than 165 offices in 15 countries, with 27 offices launching in 2025 alone.
“Sardinia is unlike anywhere else in the Mediterranean,” said Mauricio Umansky, CEO and founder of The Agency, in a press release. “There’s a level of authenticity here that’s becoming increasingly rare; from the rugged coastlines and hidden beaches to the culture, history, and pace of life that make the island so special. Buyers today are searching for more than just luxury; they want privacy, beauty, and a real connection to place. Sardinia delivers all of that. We’re incredibly proud to launch our first office in Italy in such an extraordinary destination.”
United Real Estate
United Real Estate has named Debbye Tyler as the managing director of its Chicago operations. Tyler has been with United Real Estate since 2022, but her career dates back to 1988, during which she has served thousands of buyers and sellers in Chicagoland as a top-producing agent and former boutique brokerage owner.
“Debbye Tyler brings the kind of deep, lived experience that helps agents focus, stay grounded in what matters and build a durable business,” United Real Estate President Rick Haase said in a press release. “She understands that productivity is about systems, clarity and consistent habits, paired with the right support. Her leadership will strengthen our ability to serve agents at every stage of their career.”
